Our Heritage
Muhigira Coffee Estate was founded in 1953 by the late Mr. Mukasa Steven Muhigira.
For over 70 years, the estate has expanded across Lwengo, Masaka, and Kalungu, growing coffee with traditional care and modern farming practices.
Our Farming Approach
We combine organic manure from our cattle with balanced artificial fertilizers, modern irrigation systems for dry seasons, and sustainable soil management.
This ensures healthy plants, consistent yields, and year-round coffee production.
Who We Are
Muhigira Coffee Estate is one of Uganda’s oldest and most established coffee farms, founded in 1953 by the late Mr. Mukasa Steven Muhigira. We grow and support coffee across three estates.
